ASCO International Courses (host in your country)
Opens Feb 1 2024 05:00 PM (EST)
Deadline Oct 31 2024 11:59 PM (EDT)
Description

Organizations from outside of the United States can apply to host courses for training in palliative care, clinical research, multidisciplinary management of common cancers, or cancer control for primary care audiences.  Additional one day programs for professional development or tumor board development are available.  Virtual e-Courses are also available in multidisciplinary cancer management, clinical research, and palliative care, as well as hybrid options.

Limited funding is reserved for in-person courses held in low and middle income countries.  If accepted, the host organization would fund the local expenses of holding the meeting and hosting faculty.  ASCO provides the costs of approximately 2-3 speakers, airfare, honoraria, and visa expenses.

Once the application has been reviewed and approved by the ASCO International Education Steering Group, ASCO and Host Organization will work together to create a planning team that will further define educational needs, course objectives, and plan the program.  As such, applicants must submit their application at least one year before the event is to be held.

Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis and are due the first Thursday of each quarter.  Upcoming deadlines include:

  • April 4, 2024
  • July 4, 2024
  • October 3, 2024

Please direct any questions to international@asco.org
