For the 2024 cycle, Conquer Cancer has a special competition for the following:

• CDA for Diversity and Inclusion in Breast Cancer Research - Applicants must self-identify as a member of a racial and/or ethnic group traditionally excluded in academic medicine according to the AAMC definition (include but are not limited to: American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander). Individual demographic information will be requested upon application. 
  • For international applicants, it is recognized that underrepresentation can vary from setting to setting and individuals from racial or ethnic groups that are demonstrated to be traditionally excluded by their institution but not listed above are also eligible to apply for this program. Individual demographic information will be requested upon application.
  • It is also recognized that there are other populations who might be underrepresented but are not currently designated as such by the federal government and other organizations. Applicants are welcome to inquire by sending an email to grants@conquer.org and they will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
